Event-Triggered Alert

You are here:

Why are phone alerts essential?

In a constant stream of notifications, an email or a text message can be missed. A voice call breaks through the noise.

Guaranteed responsiveness

Notified the very second the event occurs.

Fully hands-off

No need to manually check your inboxes or applications.

Secure on-call operations

The ideal solution for IT departments, maintenance, security and medical front desks.

Full traceability

Acknowledgement by keypad (DTMF) and scheduled automatic retries.

Who is event-triggered notification for?

IT on-call / monitoring

Alert as soon as a monitoring email, a critical ticket or an alarm comes in (depending on integration).

Customer support & after-sales

Automatic call when an email arrives from a key account or VIP customer.

Security & healthcare

Alert on a missed call or a message left on the duty voicemail.

Logistics and industry

Immediate notification of an urgent order or a machine fault.

How does it work?

1

Smart event detection

ALERTEL monitors your incoming flows according to your configuration:

Email

Set the ALERTEL address as a recipient in your monitoring systems or forward your urgent emails to it. The solution analyses the subject or body of the message to trigger the alert based on your defined keywords.

ALERTEL provides a dedicated mobile number to receive alerts from your sensors or users. The emergency call is only triggered when predefined keywords are detected.

Calls and voicemail

ALERTEL instantly detects a missed call or a new voicemail message. Thanks to caller-ID filtering, the solution identifies the emergency and triggers the alert scenario.

API integration

Connection with your business tools: monitoring, ticketing, in-house applications… (See API section)

2

Setting up your event-triggered alert procedure

All you need to define is:

Alert channel Automated call, SMS, email, API
Filters Keywords, sender, ticket priority
Time periods Business hours / night / weekend
Recipients Supervisor, team, on-call staff
Scenario Multichannel, acknowledgement, escalation
3

Notification by automated call (priority channel)

The system instantly calls recipients and delivers a clear message using one of two methods:

Text-to-Speech

The system dynamically reads out the content or a predefined text.

Pre-recorded message

Your own voice for a more human touch.

Sample message

"Alert: a new message has been received in the on-call mailbox. Please handle this request immediately."

Follow-up SMS (optional)

To make handling easier, an SMS can be sent at the same time with key information:

Summary : Nature of the incident Reference : Ticket or case number Direct link : To your business tool
Exclusive

Alert only the people on call

To maximise responsiveness while protecting your staff's rest, ALERTEL becomes even more powerful when combined with PLANITEL, the online on-call scheduling solution.

How it works: real-time synchronisation

No more static or outdated call lists. The notification system becomes "aware" of your team organisation.

1 Centralised management in PLANITEL

Your schedules are available 24/7. Last-minute changes are updated instantly.

2 Automatic lookup by ALERTEL

As soon as an event occurs, ALERTEL queries PLANITEL to identify who is on call at that exact moment.

3 Tailored triggering

The automated voice call is routed exclusively to the phone number of the person currently on the schedule.

The benefits of ALERTEL + PLANITEL together

Less "noise"

Only the staff on duty are contacted. You avoid disturbing off-duty colleagues.

Guaranteed handling

If level 1 does not respond, the alert escalates automatically to level 2 or the backup manager.

Total flexibility

Define your own rules: number of attempts, delay between calls, moving on to the next contact.

Full traceability

Every alert is timestamped and correlated with the schedule so you can analyse response times.

Combining ALERTEL + PLANITEL turns a simple notification into an automated crisis management system. You can be confident that every incident reaches the right person, with no manual intervention.
